3. How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your item has a valid manufacturing fault, please follow these steps to lodge a claim. Blackhawk reserves the right to make the final determination on all warranty claims.

Requirements for Your Claim:

  1. Proof of Purchase: You must provide your original receipt or tax invoice. This must clearly show the retailer's name and the exact date of purchase.
  2. Evidence of Defect: To evaluate your claim, we will require a clear description of the fault accompanied by photographic or video evidence.
  3. Physical Inspection: In some cases, we may require the item to be inspected. You may be asked to send the product back to us or visit the closest authorized dealer/distributor (postage must be prepaid by the customer).
  4. Prior Authorization: Do not ship items back to us without contacting us first. All warranty returns must be processed and issued a formal Return Authorization number prior to shipping.

  • Authorized Alterations Only: This warranty becomes immediately void if any unauthorized repair, alteration, or modification has been made to the equipment.
  • Remedy: If a product is verified as defective, the warranty covers the cost of repair or product replacement only, at the sole discretion of Blackhawk.
  • Warranty Period on Replacements: If your equipment is repaired or replaced under warranty, the coverage period is not renewed—it remains valid from the original purchase date only.
